Jennifer Davis, MD, MSCP

San Diego Menopause is a women-focused practice in San Diego, California. Led by pediatrics clinician turned certified menopause specialist Jennifer Davis, MD, MSCP, the practice provides compassionate care and empowers women to make the best choices for their health and vitality.

Dr. Davis earned a bachelor’s in biology and biological sciences from Rice University in Houston, Texas. She completed her Doctor of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. Upon earning her medical degree, Dr. Davis completed a pediatric residency and then a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

She completed her education with a child abuse pediatrics fellowship at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, California, and then worked as an assistant professor of pediatrics and medical director at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine. Before opening San Diego Menopause, she cared for families and children at her practice in Point Loma.

Inspired by her own perimenopause journey, the San Diego community can now benefit from Dr. Davis’ expertise at San Diego Menopause, where she offers individualized menopause care for women of all backgrounds.

Taylor Stafford, DNP

Taylor earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Reno, and began her nursing career as a Pediatric Psychiatry RN at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where she developed strong skills in trauma-informed care, behavioral health, and family-centered communication. 

 

Taylor went on to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Regis College and transitioned into her role as a Nurse Practitioner caring for adults in long-term care settings, treating chronic pain, neurologic conditions, and psychiatric disorders, and providing Neurofeedback Therapy.

 

Taylor has a long-standing passion for women’s health, perimenopause and menopause care, and sexual wellness. As a public speaker and sexuality educator, she has provided seminars to thousands of university students and community members across the West Coast and San Diego region. Her work focuses on helping women understand their bodies, advocate for their health, and navigate hormonal and sexual changes with confidence.

 

Rooted in a biopsychosocial model, Taylor’s clinical approach considers the full scope of each patient’s physical, emotional, relational, and lifestyle needs. She is dedicated to empowering women with compassionate, evidence-based care that supports hormonal balance, sexual well-being, and quality of life.
